Holding up a tower, Pisa, Italy

On the way home, we went westward to the coastal city of Pisa. It was a sunny but roasting hot day. We kept saying "never did we ever dream we'd be here!". Through the old city walls...the baptistry (foreground) with the cathedral behind it and then ... the famous bell tower!
The cathedral:
Here it is!
Of course, in fear that the tower would fall over, we had to hold it up for several hours until other arrived to help. It was hard, hot work!
Other views of the cathedral's architecture...
The Baptistry...
And then, to our surprise, we saw this! Remember the fairy tale we all read when children about the kids being raised by the wolves? Here they are!
