Horsing about before the parade
Prior to the commencement of the town parade in Plastovice, a horse show was put on at the local horse farm up on the hill. Here are two riders (cowboys!) going through their paces. The most fun was watching the electrically-controlled 'calf' move back and forth to see whether the cowboy could stop it. He was pretty good (so was the cowboy!).

Tonight I had corn of the cob, fresh heirloon tomatoes and for dessert fresh sliced mango. It was very tasty and plus it was very healthy. Unlike you two, I have not been cooking up a storm.
ReplyDeleteWell, Judy, that sure sounds mighty tasty nonetheless....nature is a good cook, too!
ReplyDeleteWe just came back from the farmer's market this morning, laden with fresh herbs, cukes, tomatoes, onions, green beans, squash, cherries, peaches, red pears, carrots and the like. Wow. What a feast indeed. WE'll follow in your footsteps!
