Cut flower and potted plant vendors at the farmers market

How can one resist bouquets of fresh cut flowers or a potted herb or two? We had to buy fresh rosemary and chive plants so we could put them in around our deck to start the kitchen cutting garden!
While most of the cut flowers were similar to what we find in the States, I (Neil) had never seen a vendor selling just cut Tiger lilies (Lilium tigrinum). Another one was selling pink hydrangeas, which looked remarkably similar to 'Endless Summer' (Hydrangea macrophylla) from Bailey Nurseries, St. Paul, MN, USA! And, of course, we were happy to see gladioli for sale ... a refreshing summer line flower to grace anyone's table.
